Janet Parker-Laird

Janet started her career in at Bournemouth Art College in the mid 60’s. She then started work in Delphis Studio in the Craft section at Poole Pottery learning all aspects within the pottery. She was given the opportunity to apply her own unique designs on Delphis ware and tile panel and was soon promoted to supervisor. She married and had two children before opening her own studio and workshop to resume her passion for ceramics, art and calligraphy. Her range of ceramic designs has increased and now produces one-off designs using beautiful, brightly coloured glazes that she has perfected. Her designs are inspired from flowers, seed heads and other inspirations of nature.

Now, her artwork continues to be sold all over the world and her monogram continues to be used today
